It might feel like voodoo magic, but the Turbo Tuner is still just a tuner, albeit a special one.<\/p>

Strobe Tuners work by comparing the frequency of a note with a reference frequency. This reference frequency is generated by a rotating disk with an alternating pattern printed on it. As the disk spins, it is illuminated by a strobe light that displays any variation in frequency. Microscopic inaccuracies become easily observable with this method, giving strobes a distinct advantage over other types of tuners.<\/p>

Luckily for you, the Turbo Tuner is a fraction of the size of a traditional strobe, meaning you can throw it on your pedal board without a second thought. It’s also made with solid state components, meaning there aren’t any mechanical parts to where out. True Strobe Display
<\/b><\/p>

The Turbo Tuner is a true strobe tuner. The easy to read display instantly shows the slightest change in pitch.<\/p>

Chromatic Mode<\/b><\/p>

Tunes any note in the scale from C0 (16.35 Hz) to C8 (4,186.0 Hz).<\/p>

Open Tuning Modes for Stringed Instruments<\/b><\/p>

In open tuning mode, the tuner shows the string number instead of the note letter. There are five modes, each can be customized for any alternate tuning.<\/p>

Alternate Temperaments<\/b><\/p>

The Turbo Tuner is set to the equal temperament by default, but can be programmed for up to 5 different alternate temperaments.<\/p>

Drop Tuning<\/b><\/p>

Transpose all notes up to 6 semitones.<\/p>

Compact Size<\/b><\/p>

Reference Pitch Adjustment<\/b><\/p>

The A4 reference pitch may be set to any frequency between 300.0 Hz and 599.9 Hz in .1 Hz increments. (Default is 440.0 Hz).<\/p>

Power Supply<\/b><\/p>

The ST-300 can be powered by a 9 Volt battery or an external 9 Volt DC supply. The ST-300 requires an external 9 Volt supply<\/p>

No Battery Drain When Off<\/b><\/p>

When switched off, the Turbo Tuner will not drain the battery. You can leave your instrument plugged in.<\/p>

Power On Restore<\/b><\/p>

The Turbo Tuner remembers the settings from the last time it was powered down.<\/p>

Low Battery Indicator<\/b><\/p>

A message is shown on the display when there is about 1 hour of battery life remaining.<\/p>

Extreme Accuracy <\/b><\/p>
